This drive across the beautiful Navajo country felt so familiar and amazing today. I think it's been almost 8 years since I've been that way, although it was a common journey before that. San Juan river trips and visits to Colorado and southern Utah. I can't believe it's been so long. The boys were excited to see sheep and horses, and especially to dip their toes in the San Juan river.
A place where erosion on the riverbank made an interesting hole.
Driving a train (above) and a tractor (below) at one of the best playgrounds ever, in Dolores, CO.
And to top it all off, a field full of dandelions all ready to blow, with fall-colored leaves in the background. Does it get any better than this?
