What can you do when your "real" birthday is two days after the party and there's just some old leftover cake in the fridge? Make cake pops!
I posted about cake pops here before. All you do to make them is bake a cake, crumble it up, mix it with frosting and form balls, and then dip the balls in candy coating. So... I was looking at the ugly remains of the cake and it occurred to me that if you crumble up a cake that already has icing on it, it would probably turn out the same way. It worked! Instead of leftover cake, we had beautiful birthday cake pops!
