Pancakes and Choo-choos

We're breaking out of our Epic routine these days. Actually, we're doing a good job of breaking out of out eating out routine in general, and doing a lot more cooking. So, for this Saturday morning we stayed home and had Lattes and Blue corn whole wheat pancakes with yogurt, strawberries and maple syrup on top. I even made some tiny sized ones (and failed to get the right spot on them in focus...). They were a huge hit, as were the strawberries.

As you may have noticed, I've been experimenting with more portraits the last few days. Here are some that I love:

After our pancake breakfast we headed to Reid park for a little family fun time. What could be better than a place with ducks, a choo-choo train you can ride, playgrounds, and big shade trees?

Those pancakes look divine! I think Chris might be enjoying the choo choo more than Noah.:)

I think you might be right, Tasha! Although Noah does love it too. It's just an overwhelming kind of love.

I love your photos of flowers and food, but mostly, of course, those darling pictures of Noah. It's great to see some of you and Chris too. Please keep up the good work! Lots of love, Gram
